"As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace." 1 Peter 4:10
HOW THE GOSPEL CREATES, SHAPES, AND EMPOWERS A CULTURE OF SERVICE
Following Jesus and serving others go hand in hand. “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45) Jesus said that he gave his life to redeem a people for his own possession who love to serve others just as he did (Titus 2:14). So instead of living selfishly, we put others first, love others more than ourselves, and sacrifice our time, treasures, and talents to help others.
As a church body, we gather together each week to celebrate the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. In order to be able to do this, we have many amazing, selfless, people that serve in a variety of capacities so that we can come together and worship.

Connection Card
It takes a lot of volunteers for a Sunday morning service to happen and there are opportunities with every serving team we have! So whether you’re a passionate teacher (or just like running around with the kids), you're interested in sound / tech / stage set up, you are a gifted musician, you love to meet new people, or you have the capacity to help out with set up and tear down, we need your help!
- You can fill out the Connection Card and a team leader will reach out with how you can get involved and start serving! If you’re not sure what team (or teams!) might be a good fit for you, contact Caitlin Parrish and she can help connect you with a team lead.
- You can also contact Caitlin in order to take the S.H.A.P.E. Assessment, which can give you some insignt into some of your gifts, and hyow you might use them to serve the church.
