Aletheia Jr. Resources

Aletheia Jr. Resources

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. Psalm 46:1-4

Welcome! We hope this page encourages you and your family with resources to help bring Jesus into your home. These are simply here for you to access. Feel free to use as many or as few of them as your family needs in a given season. We want these resources to be a blessing to you and not be seen as one more thing to add to an ever growing “to-do” list. This document is a fluid item and as we continue to acquire resources, they will be posted here.

Memory verse for the month of December, Luke 2:10-11.

From the Jesus Storybook Bible:

  • How to Pray (p. 222) - You can find a simple craft option here. It’s a simple bracelet made of pipe cleaners and beads. If you don’t have regular beads, you can make your own out of construction paper.
    • Memory verse - ‘Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.’ - Matthew 6:8
  • The Captain of the Storm (p. 236) - Linked here is a craft/ activity that would be fun for you and your kids to try out after reading this story together! It also includes some good discussion questions to help your kids connect the activity with the story.
    • Memory verse - ‘And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.’ - Mark 4:39
