Youth Outing at Blue Ridge Tunnel

We will be hiking (using that term loosely) the Blue Ridge Tunnel from the west trailhead end. Due to safety protocol, we won't be able to provide transportation, so you and your family are welcome to come along and join if you like. We will meet at the trailhead at 10:00 a.m. (located at 483 Three Notched Mountain Hwy, Waynesboro, VA 22980) and go until 12:00 p.m. We will do lunch together at the Chick-Fil-A in Waynesboro (710 Shenandoah Village Dr, Waynesboro, VA 22980) and can eat in relative proximity at the nearby Park and Ride. 

If you haven't done this before, it's a great expereince and very different while still a very easy hike/walk. Just make sure to dress approprirately to the weather (understanding the temperature does regulate inside the tunnel) and bring a flashlight because there is no lighting once inside.
